Viganò furnishes C.A.M.P.

The social importance of architecture and design

Historic company in the Lecco area, C.a.m.p. is a leader in the sector of technical tools for outdoor and work at height, with a story that began in 1889 in a small workshop in Premana, with the wrought iron works of Nicola Codega.

The old logistics warehouse is located in Premana, which is chosen to house the new offices and showroom, and to accommodate new demonstration and training spaces.

A natural outpost that binds the company with its roots, those of a family business closely linked to the territory and at the same time easily accessible by international stakeholders.

This is how it was decided to proceed with the total demolition of the 1970s warehouse, unfortunately irrecoverable, and to give new life to the 2000m2 of gross surface area. A project that develops in 15 meters in height, functional to the practical demonstrations of the use of the products but also to an important image that wants to do justice to a highly industrialized area and which struggles to maintain contact with the surrounding landscape.

A real social requalification of the area which, thanks to the project of the architects Guglielmo Comini and Germana Rovinolo, comes to life in a continuous dialogue with nature and the surrounding landscape.

To complete the project, the furnishings of Viganò Office, synonymous with Italian quality and captivating design, which with their modularity and functionality tell of a leader in the production of office and contract furniture.
